Please read through, & help us, or spread the word, please share. These are 2 abandoned pets - spitz dogs - with horrible maggot wounds. The first one - pictures 1 & 2 - was brought to us a week ago by a man with the usual story. That hed found him on the road, tried to treat him, but couldnt, etc. Ideally, we should have seen through his story. BUT WERE ONE OF THE FEW ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE COUNTRY, THAT DOESNT REFUSE ANIMALS IN DISTRESS. The shelter head, Vidhi Shukla, took one look at the childs missing ear, and took him in. ( I met him a couple of days ago, Im happy to tell you hes quite a fighter :) ) The second child - pictures 3 & 4 - was brought to us yesterday, by Anita (Anitas private ambulance). Shed found him on an East Delhi road - God knows how long hed been there :( Matted hair, one badly wounded eye crawling with maggots :( & he was starving :( After the maggots were cleaned out, and he experienced some comfort, he ate up a full bowl of food, and wanted more, God bless the child :) Were getting cases like these, from Noida of course, and Delhi, Ghaziabad, even Gurgaon, Faridabad. We are an SPCA, were not made of money, & we have huge funds, staff, constraints. BUT WE DONT WANT TO REFUSE ANIMALS THAT REQUIRE HELP. Please help us help them. This Diwali, & beyond, please contribute for our animals, in cash or in kind. & dont forget to collect your receipts ! We have Section 80 G exemption, so youll get a tax benefit too.
