Please report it. From personal experience, she is either going to be relieved, or angry (but only because she is scared of the consequence) but either way.. she will appreciate you and remember you for the rest of her life as the one person who stood up for her when she couldnt stand up for herself. Too many times, in public!!! I would get my ass beat so bad, I would be bruised and bleeding and people would just stare or walk by. Apartments and cheap motel rooms where the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors fart, there would be broken glass, holes in the walls, bathroom doors kicked off the hinges and screaming and crying, yet, no one, I mean no one, even tried to help by calling the police... one time, I was bleeding so bad from my arm and I was running around trying to get help. My neighbors that caught themselves calling me their friend were in the apartment, knew what happened, and wouldnt even open the door or call me an ambulance. One neighbor opened his door, looked at me, I asked for him to call 911 and he slammed the door. I lost so much blood I couldnt feel my teeth for two weeks. I turned white and was weak and almost passed out and a stranger went to the store in front of my apartments and had them call 911. I got 13 stitches that time. it was a very dark time in my life and I am so thankful that I get to see some light in my life today and I do have one person (besides God of course) to thank for getting me out of the situation. He never witnessed the abuse, but as soon as he found out, he forced my abuser out of my life because he wouldnt listen to me, he refused to leave-and I will be forever thankful and will always have love for him for saving my life. Please, if you dont want to step in, call someone that will.
