Please take your time to read this and share as I need to clear this matter up immediately. There has been revelations in the Cock And Bulls disgusting discrimination case with the travellers who play for the channel Ssc football club. The manager of the football club Garr Gargen rang me on Monday as I was on my way to Galway for a film shoot [Thats why I havent been able to push this issue yet because of my work] and said was it okay for him to clear up this issue of my previous post? Because one of the channel footballers work for the refrigerator company who has a contract with the Cock And Bull and because I have been pushing this online the Cock and Bulls owners are threatening to tear up the contract if I dont stop and if the manager of channel doesnt go back on what he said or put the blame on someone else. Heres where it gets interesting.... Garr found this new story thats suppose to be true and is suppose to vindicate the Cock And Bull... Wait for it... The story came from the channel footballer who works for the Cock And Bull. The footballer said that he said he was asked by the manager of this horrible place can he vouch for the travellers and he replied One of them is a head-case which Im guessing is because he got a straight red card in a game a few weeks previous because the Cock And Bull worker/footballer knows nothing else about the traveller in question and has never had trouble with him himself. Then the Cock And Bull owner said he wont let the travellers in. Now why the channel manager Garr thinks this vindicates the Cock And Bull in anyway is beyond me even if its true its just as bad if not worse as before. But the channel manager asked me was it okay to post this on Facebook because it might save his players job. I said its a free world go ahead sure its as bad as before anyway in terms of discrimination. But I did say Make sure tell the whole story Garr and he agreed. Guess what? He didnt! The next bit is his Facebook status and what he posted to the Cock and Bull page and I cant reply on it because I Cant add Garr for some reason or else I would tag him in this post and the Cock And Bull have me blocked so if anyone wants to post this to the Cock And Bull page I would be really grateful. Anyway heres Garrs post.... GARR-Hi all I’m not a big user or fan of Facebook however I think this matter needs to be cleared up once and for all. The cock and bull do not let people in or refuse people because of their colour or creed or cultural backgrounds they certainly do not have a problem with travellers. Anyone can walk up to the door and get in or refused at any time it is a strict door but that’s life it’s not the only pub in Dublin like that. What happened here is a misunderstanding due to a lack of communication. I am the manager of Chanel FC and I was reserving the area for the united vs Liverpool match however I didn’t realise that one of my players had already told the manager of the cock and bull that he will vouch for two of the lads who are travellers but the other one he is not sure about, so straight away there would be doubt put in the managers mind. The reason I mentioned it to the cock and bull is because I was asked to by the lads, so they wouldn’t miss the start of the match if they were refused and it would save a lot of hassle for everyone on the day. At the end of the day the lads may well have walked up and got in no problem as is still the case. As said I’m not a fan or big user of Facebook so I won’t be paying attention to anyones posts as I know people love to focus on the negatives and may try to drag this out more. I’m not taking sides as there is none to take I am just trying to resolve a misunderstanding. As I previously explained, Garr left out a few details [To be kind about it] and went against what he said to me which was to, just reiterate it, that he would explain the whole story, and that he did not do. What right does he or anyone have to say this from either one of the discrimination storys. Youre a nice fell and you mean well but dont be lying or messing with this issue. This is very serious man. I want to say something and for it to be forever clear for anyone and everyone that has ever crossed paths with me. I wish this story wasnt true and the hundreds more every year just like it, and not just the traveller discrimination in modern Irish society but the discrimination against gays, the working class, Nigerians, Polish, Romanian Gypsys or any foreigner or ethnic group or people of different faith/religion other than the catholic church.
