Pls dont take this wrong dads...husbands. its been eating at me for almost a week now. I had to share it today. My baby girl Gracie was playing in her pool, while the fam was all sitting out eating dinner on the deck while watching her. My mother targets a huge dog about 100 feet away. My mother tells my hubby and her dad..ok keep an eye on her in that pool..do you see that dog? All of the men said... that dog is way over there. Shes alright. 3 min. Later the dog runs closer to my yard about 20 feet away from Gracie now. I immediately jumped up on the deck rail and got in position to jump down to rescue Grace. I have been experiencing severe lower back pains as well. Well with the exception of my mother. Even my daughter who is Not a mother... along with the guys all said..so what are you going to do? I said ..jump and save her. They replied....and hurt your back and break your legs. I told them that a mother never thinks about herself being heroic. She thinks with her instinct. .save my child , even if its going to cost me my own life...a mother doesnt think. She reacts. A father thinks and react on how he can save the child and himself. A mother will give her life for her children without thinking once about it. She will do what she has to do for her kids life and not her own. I know bc I have done it many times for my very own. I dont wait for my husband bc hes still thinking... while Im just being their Mommy and reacting. As my own Mother is still this way today without hesitation as my mother yelled.. get her out of the pool right NOW! I dont trust that dog..thanks Amina McWhirter..piggyback off of you today. #Arealmotherdoeswhatshehastodo
