Plymouth History. Started by cutting out the old torsion bar front suspension and installed a Heidts Pro G front clip with Afco coil overs and Willwood 4 piston brakes. We wanted the car low to the ground, to do that and have room for the drive shaft a complete new floor with trans tunnel was fabricated from scratch. The rear will be a Bears 9 with coil overs, ladder bars and new Strange center section with locker and gears. Strange axles and 4 piston Strange rear brakes with parking brake complete the rear. To make room for the big rear tires the wheel tubs had to be bigger and were also fabbed up. For hwy cruising a new TCI 700R4 with lock up converter was installed. For comfort a new Vintage Air system was installed. The engine was a Millar Engines small block chevy built for the old school and very rare Vancharger 6-71 competition supercharger. New blower drive and pulleys were installed. Two Edelbrock carbs with chokes removed were rebuilt and tuned for the engine. Hydroboost brakes were custom fit and installed along with high output power steering pump and power rack and pinion. A new March serpentine belt system was used. A complete 2 1/2 duel exhaust with mandrel bends was installed. Wiring was completely new front to back using American Auto Wire hwy 22 kit. New electronic Autometer gauges were custom fit into the original instrument cluster. A new interior was custom made front to back with new stereo system. About 400 hours went into building this one of a kind car only to have it stolen and destroyed. These thieves need to be caught !!
