Hasan Jawed INITIATE TO EDUCATE AND EMPOWER OUR DAUGHTERS & SISTERS IN RURAL AREAS Friends, MADRASATUL BANAAT (A School for Educating Girls) is an initiative that I have dared to take. At MADRASATUL BANAAT we provide free education to the girls from the rural areas in Seemanchal. Though we witness the deteriorating condition in our society we talk a lot about bringing a change but do noting about it. Considering this, we have taken a small initiative of imparting free and basic education to rural girls to empower them academically. Our doors are open to all irrespective of cast, creed or religion. Later we aim to provide digital, community medicine and other vocational training but at present our resources are limited. We need your support to make this benevolent effort a success. The Kishanganj area in Bihar is one of the most underdeveloped areas in Asia.The economy here is totally dependent on agriculture and migration is a regular problem. The Human Development Index is at its lowest here. Absence of academic institutions in the area is a major problem. Under such circumstances, the literacy rate of women is bound to be pathetic. This area has suffered political negligence. Kishanganj shares border with Nepal and West Bengal. There is robust availability of natural resources in this area. The institution is located on the highway connecting Siliguri and Araria. The school has the natural surroundings of greenery and is also pollution free. The school is secure for students in all aspects. The school does have the basic facilities of water, electricity and toilet. At present we have four teachers on every 100 students. We aim to recruit more teachers as the number of students rise. In future we aim to establish hostels, audio-visual lab, computer lab and stitching and embroidery centre as well. Villagers and parents of students will be provided computer education to connect them to the outer world. Your Help is solicited Our school is short of resources.The students have to bear no expenses in this school, while education is imparted totally free in this school. We cannot provide good services without your help. We expect you to make even small contribution to enlighten the lives of small girls in the area.
