Poland is a coal burning nation along with many other nations.yes we have the duty to keep pollution down and look for other means for power but it is a resource that can and should be utilised. it can be cleaned up while using to fulfill a nations need for power. anyone that thinks that so called green energy is just that is a fool...you have to mine for the steel raw materials as well as use energy to make it for turbines. you have to use lubricants to oil/lubricate the moving parts of the turbines which has to gained from drilling for oil. you have make the plastic coating on the cables which is a secondary product of oil. you have to mine for copper to make the cables....you can go on and on. or is it we do not wish to see it in our own back yard. Coal is gone here along with the 260,000 jobs that it provided pre 1984 but our reliance on others digging drilling and nuke stuff has risen dramatically along with the price hikes that comes with relying on others for energy needs. the energy we need? a mass of it on our own doorstep so why are we not using it in the best way possible instead of using cheap labour abroad for profits of minority.
