Police Blotter 3/17/14 - 3/18/14 Patrol arrested a 27 year old Batavia man for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree on Walden Avenue. Officers conducted traffic details on Garfield Street, Harris Hill Road and Walden Avenue. Patrol checked out 2 suspicious vehicles parked near the water tower on Pleasant View Drive. Patrol determined that telephone company employees were installing equipment on the tower. A complainant from Pleasant Avenue reported a larceny of property. Lancaster dispatch handled 10 requests for emergency medical services. An officer issued numerous parking tags to vehicles parked in the area of Pheasant Run Lane. The vehicles were parked in the roadway in violation of the 2-hour parking restriction. Patrols checked for a vehicle reported to be operating recklessly on Genesee Street. A Transit Road auto dealership reported a larceny of wheels/tires from 2 vehicles parked on their lot. A detective responded to investigate further. An officer checked a noise complaint on Garfield Street. Patrols responded to 2 reports of loose dogs. Patrols, Twin District Volunteer Fire Company and Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to an M.V.A. with injury where a vehicle struck a fire hydrant. Patrols checked for an intoxicated male reported to be walking in the middle of the roadway on Como Park Boulevard.
