Police appeal for information following armed robbery - Liverpool Police continue to search for two men following an armed robbery in Liverpool. About 2.45am today (Wednesday 26 June 2013), two men, both with their faces covered, entered a petrol station on Hoxton Park Road, and threatened the employee with a firearm. The men demanded money and left the location after obtaining an amount of cash. They were last seen running along Flowerdale Road. There were no shots fired and no injuries as a result of the incident. Police were alerted to the incident and attended the location where a crime scene was established. Officers also conducted a patrol of the area, but the men could not be located. Detectives attached to Liverpool Local Area Command would like to speak to two men who they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries. The first man is described as being about 180cm tall and a thin build. He is further described as wearing a black jumper and black gloves The second man is described as being about 170cm tall and wearing a black jumper and black gloves.
