Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was robbed at South Granville yesterday. About 10.30am (Wednesday 28 May 2014), the 78-year-old used an ATM on Dellwood Street and began walking home. When she was at the intersection of Pegler Avenue a man approached her and offered to help her with her belongings. The man then stole her purse before fleeing. He was last seen leaving the area in a blue sedan which was being driven by another man. Police were alerted and officers from Rosehill Local Area Command commenced inquiries.
