Police are appealing for witnesses as inquiries continue into a fatal crash at Terrey Hills, in Sydney’s north overnight. Emergency services were called to Mona Vale Road about 4.15am (Wednesday 9 April 2014), after a red Toyota Corolla left the road and rolled. The female passenger died at the scene. While she is yet to be formally identified it’s believed she is a 19-year-old woman from Manly. The driver, a 24-year-old man, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The Wahroonga man will also undergo mandatory blood and urine testing. Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are continuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed it or the events leading up to it, and who hasn’t already spoken to police, to come forward.
