Police are investigating the religious aspect of the theft of a six-foot sculpture of a Celtic sea god from a mountainside. Its a bizarre case, motivated seemingly by religious fervour. The statue had no material value, and was a popular local attraction. In its place was left a wooden cross stating the Christian commandment You shall have no other gods but me. There are no confirmed reports that anyone actually worshipped the sculpture. We also find ourselves wondering about another commandment You shall not steal?
