Police area appealing for information after a convenience store was robbed at knife-point. About 6.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 June 2014), two males entered a convenience store on Evelyn Street, Macquarie Fields. One of the men threatened the male and female employees with a knife and demanded cash, but the victims ran from the store. After obtaining the cash till, the alleged offenders also fled the area. The offenders were last seen running in a northerly direction into Cestrum Street, Macquarie Fields. Police were alerted to the incident and established a crime scene. They also conducted a patrol of the area, but the offenders were not located. Officers attached to Macquarie Fields Local Area Command continue to make inquiries and would like to speak to two males. They are described as being of Caucasian appearance and wearing hooded jumpers. Their faces were covered.
