It is incumbent on the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States to finally acknowledge the U.S. Merchant Marine of World War II and extend a hand of gratitude before they all fade away into the final pages of the twentieth century, because “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.” Author Unknown but on the dime. We have two bill in congress now that will accomplish this for some WW II Coastwise Merchant Seamen. HR 2189 and S-1361. We need support from all who read this. Call/write your member of congress and ask them to support by cosponsoring these bill.
