Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information after a car was broken into. Some time between 4.30pm and 5pm on Thursday, 24 July, an Audi car, parked near to a chapel graveyard on Newry Road, was broken into and a handbag taken. An old type white Ford Transit van was seen in the area and two males were observed close to the Audi car. Police are keen to speak to two females who spoke to the owner of the Audi car. They would also like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. Police can be contacted on the 101 non-emergency number, quoting ref: 1003240714.
