Political Jingoism Against the backdrop of the current flex of modules in PDP some people appeared happy over the grand split. Okay this intuition is not entirely misplaced, but I assure you things will never be thesame again in political landscape of Nigeria. For long the masses were taken for a ride with dictators masks in democratic clothes, now the branch has broken from top iroko tree. There is no way the will descend hands down without injuries. However the reconciliation the so called family will never hold together as before. Actually this is a zero sum game, One can only survive, the two can not survive at the same time. The phylosophy of Nicholas Polanzasas asserted that when the ruling classes are in class war it end until others are eliminated. The one that survive swallow the flash of others to survive. K.Marx said like capitalism, rulings classes contain the seeds of her destruction. Though they share the same interest, the struggle for control and dominance robbed them of all rationality, and continue to dig their grave. Indeed until they are at war the masses benefit or see their asses. Practically I can not see how PDP can reconcile this crisis. At the end one faction will survive, but the strongest faction will emerged with bruises and weak, hence become minority. While the defeated faction will eventually dissolved in previous opposition and constitute majority to govern. But make no mistakes, they are birds of the same feathers. Any person that reduced the current jingoism to tribal, regional, religious or individual war to control is yet to grabs the silent issue or object of the conflict. Machiavelli said in game of power no morality or sentiments, the end justify the means. Let jointly start search for Messiah leader out of this fold who promised 70 years of domination, repression and exploitation.
