Political differences aside, few will disagree that children are innocent victims of the on-going hostilities in Gaza. In all wars, innocents suffer. But seldom does one side use children as combatants in the shape of suicide bombers, or as human shields against bullets, bombs, and missiles. Yet Hamas has done this repeatedly, and no one seems to hate them for it. I would have to wonder at any combatant who used children as protection for themselves and their military assets, and then, when they are killed, broadcasts their deaths as a way to demonize the enemy. When asked, “What is your most lofty aspiration?” six-year-olds in Hamas attire during a kindergarten graduation ceremony; they are trained to scream in unison: “Death for the sake of Allah!. When some are asked what they want to do in life, they answer “When I will grow up, I want to blow myself up with the Zionists and to kill them in a suicide act on a bus.” Gaza is a territory controlled by an officially recognized terror organization. The only way that Hamas can hold on to power is by the propaganda and tyranny over their own people. For some reason you will not see this discussed on MSNBC or BBC. But it is true. And it should make everyone wonder about a cause that values the death of children more then the life they could have. “We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.” Golda Meir
