Politics of Deceit and Deception (Part 3): Nigerians are daily - TopicsExpress

Politics of Deceit and Deception (Part 3): Nigerians are daily being fed wit flimsy excuses by those who have been given opportunity to serve but failed to provide d right leadership. The defence being put up by some persons to justify d the failure federal govt in offering d right leadership is not only laughable but ridiculous. How can some unpatriotic and disgruntled persons continue to insult our sensibility by stating that the federal govt could have performed if only it had not been distracted or frustrated by forces known to only d federal govt and its apologists. Here is a Federal govt with so much powers at its disposal as enshrined in d constitution,a govt that controls 52% of d federal allocation,a govt that controls all d security agencies or institutions etc. The question now is if d justification for the failure of President Jonathans administration in close to 6years is premise on d above stated fact, wat proof or magic wand will d same person put forward if given anoda opportunity considering d fact that d same bottlenecks and so called forces that was allege to be distracting or frustrating him will still be around? Personally,I choose not to be deceive by this lame, laughable and ridiculous excuses cos events unfolding has proved that d wind of POSITIVE CHANGE is inevitable cos its obvious that the present govt seems to av run out of ideas in tackling d myraid of problems besetting this once great nation. Cant imagine d unabated high level of insecurity as experience on a daily basis which has continuously resulted to d destruction of lives and properties by some miscreants masquerading as insurgents in d northern part or kidnappers/armed robbers in d Southern part of d country,or is it the high rate of unemployment and inflation in d economy,Poor standard of education,or d unfavorable govt policies or lack of rule of law presently witness in d country. Cant imagine d President of once a great country like Nigeria going cap in hand to plead or negotiate with Presidents of smaller neighbouring countries like Chad and Niger republic in seeking for assistance in tackling d miscreants masquerading as insurgents. Today,a country like Cameroon often times try to rubbish our govt and military simply because of d lapses theyve observed in our system. The seed of this weakness was sowed during former President Obasanjos administration when a part of Nigeria known as Bakassi was unjustifiably ceded to Cameroon while Nigerians in that area now lives as refugees dumped in classrooms or rehabilitation centres ,but surprisely we still have that particular area (Bakassi) that was ceded to Cameroon even in d amended 1999 constitution and Map of Nigeria and even some persons claiming to be representing that area in d State house of Assembly and National Assembly. So can someone tell me who is fooling who? It is high time the people wake up from there ignorant slumber by doing things objectively (based on merit) in d overall interest of the Nation. Our dear country Nigeria is too blessed to be in this pitiable situation that it now find itself. We cant afford to continue to sit idle lamenting on d mistakes of the past without contributing our own quota towards ushering in POSITIVE CHANGE for a UNITED,PEACEFUL AND PROSPEROUS NATION. I see light at d end of d dark tunnel,I see a brighter future for our dear beloved country Nigeria if only we could sacrifice the pleasure of today and be an AGENT FOR POSITIVE CHANGE. (Food 4 thot).
