Post by Mr. Denzil John, I am saddened to hear the sad demise of Shaan. He was a wonderful, brilliant and confident child. He was in my House - (ADA), I remember he joined in class sixth in 2011 and was Avash’s and Alok’s cousin. He was with me for two years, classes 6 & 7, and when I was leaving Sherwood in December 2012 he came to me and asked, “Why are you going?” and I gave only a loving smile to this active child with bright eyes. I liked the way he used to converse as it was quite different from other Nepalese boys. Why it happened to him? As I write these lines, I see his face right infront of me, the face, which sometimes had traces of curry on his chin when he comes out from dinning hall after lunch. It is heart breaking to hear the tragic end of those who put their faith in you, no matter how short that period is. As his House Master, he was like a foster child to me. May God give strength to his mother to overcome this sorrow. I am pained and can understand her agony but the soul which is no more with us shall see peace and rest. Shaan you live in my HEART.
