Postdoctoral Research Associate Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work on experimental propagation of light through scattering media and metamaterials, and on propagation of quantum light. Recent theoretical work has developed new algorithms for optimizing light propagation through scattering media, and made new predictions for propagation of quantum correlations. The experiments will be performed as part of a collaboration between theorists and experimentalists in the Center for Photonic and Multiscale Nanomaterials at the University of Michigan. The position is for one year initially, with the possibility of renewal up to three years based on experimental progress and availability of funds. Application Instructions: Applications including a curriculum vitae, representative publications, and the names of at least three references should be sent to: Prof. Theodore B. Norris, Center for Photonic and Multiscale Nanomaterials, University of Michigan, 2200 Bonisteel Blvd., Ann Arbor, MI 48109, [email protected]. University of Michigan is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer Requirements: Candidates must have a PhD in experimental optics or photonics, preferably with experience in holography, scattering media, quantum light sources and correlation measurements, or related areas.
