They had a really hard time getting her port to get started took 2 doses of heparin saline pushes then two doses of something that is suppose to be stronger then heparin and robin standing up and raising her arms up and down being tipped way back in the chair almost 2 hours finally they got it so 4 hours Later we now done with chemo. And across the hall to have her recheck with Surgeon. On the good side of things she is feeling pretty good and is getting hungry. They did insert the power port that will be used now for all her labs and chemo so no more searching for places to poke her . Chemo starts Monday for 20 Weeks and followed by 7 weeks of 5 days a week Radiation .. Robin says it is going to be a journey but she is up to the challenge. And has a positive attitude.
