Posted by Strictly Rhythm: The Boston badboy has numerous boom tunes to his name, but ‘Witch Doktor’ is undoubtedly the track with which he first made his name. A piercing siren, a clattering snare, that strangely flat bassline he always used, a minimal key stab and the immortal title line are all that there is to the track. But as is so often the case, its power lies in its simplicity. And it still sounds just as crazy today.
