Power Breakdown in Karachi - A curse being faced by everyone Shahbaz Sharif in one of his press conference told media that "PUNJAB MAIN BIJLI AATEE NAHEEN OR KARACHI MAIN BIJLI JATEE NAHEEN" after this silly conversation now KARACHI-ITES facing severe power break down for 15 to 17 hours a day. Yesterday night the power went off at 11.00 pm and came back at 8.45 am next morning Again went at 09.00 am and came back 11.45 am 3rd time went at 2.15 pm and came back 5.00 pm 4th time went at 5.15 pm and came back 5.45 pm 5th time the scheduled shut down to fall at 7.00 pm which will continue till 9.00 pm (if it does not cross the schedule) 6th time it goes at 11.00 pm 7th time goes at 01.00 am and last 2 to 3 hours 8th time goes at 4.0 am and breakdown continues 5.00 or 5.30 am then Again the cycle starts from 9.00 am and spirals as cited above. In such terrible state, mental agony, & sleepless condition how we can work, how a child can go to school, how a house wife can do her household duties. While the hot season where temperatures negotiating at 40 to 42 degree Celsius, NO ELECTRICITY & MOSQUITOES BITES virtually the unbearable segments those are impacting a normal citizen of the country. The new Govt., who has assumed the office, must be sincere and have a doable approach to resolve this chronic problem otherwise time is nor far when It will see the civil disobedience if not sorted in a quick and effective way.
