Power rankings here, lots of great games this weekend. Let me know what you all think, I love hearing others opinions. I make this to hear everyone, and feel free to follow me on twitter as I release my rankings the second MNF reaches 00:00 @isureppin12. Enjoy: 1. Seattle Seahawks (11-1): Seahawks did not just win last night, they dominated and they really have no reason not to be the #1 team at this point. I was suspect to how good the defense actually was, they had yet to play against an elite QB. They proved that even without 2 players in the secondary suspended, that they are still the best defense in the league. Brees didnt stand a chance. 2. Denver Broncos (10-2): Broncos beat the Chiefs after getting down 21-7 early in the game, Decker and Manning went off like no other QB-WR duo that I have ever seen. Manning made some passes that I cant even put into words how great they were. Broncos looking good and I dont blame the cold weather for the loss to the Patriots but people dont realize the effect that has on a QB. 3. New England Patriots (9-3): Patriots are faulted for the simple fact that they cheated and still barely beat the Texans. Alright that was sarcasm, but talk about a laughable comment by Texans DE Antonio Smith, They were either cheating or scouting really well like okay bud, or maybe you lost because you have the worst team in the NFL. I would love nothing more than a Brady-Manning AFC Championship game. 4. Carolina Panthers (9-3): Panthers have won 8 straight, and really are playing incredibly well. Something not being mentioned, the Panthers and Saints are tied for the division right now with 2 more matchups between the 2 over the remaining 4 weeks. Division could easily be won by the Panthers. Panthers torched a Buccaneers team that was looking up after a couple of wins. 5. New Orleans Saints (9-3): I understand a team not getting any offense going, but not a team with an elite top 4 QB in Drew Brees and the best TE or top 3 TE in the league. Hopefully just a one game skid, they do return home where they basically never lose to take on division rival Panthers this weekend. Will it be Who Dat nation or will it be Superman nation? 6. San Francisco 49ers (8-4): 49ers with back to back solid performances from Collin Kaepernick as they beat the Rams pretty comfortably. You know how some teams you can say this team will go as far as the QB does? This is not one of those teams, we have seen some awful play from Kaep in some of their best wins. They are a terrible team to game plan against, they play smash-mouth football one week, then air it out the next followed by a ton of read-options the following. 7. Kansas City Chiefs (9-3): I am not saying it is panic time in KC, but they would have loved to take 1 of the 2 from division leading Broncos. People are jumping bandwagon as if the season is over, they played the BRONCOS TWICE and a very solid Chargers team who won it in the closing seconds. Came within 2 plays of being 11-1 as both of the last 2 weeks came down to a win or lose play. 8. Cincinnati Bengals (8-4): Bengals fly under the radar, maybe its the lack of an elite QB, RB or defensive player. But they have the second best WR in the game, and a solid defense that makes you earn every yard and point as they are ranked 5th in points given up and 6th in yards against. Would love to see Andy Dalton be more consistent as that is their biggest downfall. 9. Philadelphia Eagles (7-5): Maybe Nick Foles is legit. It doesnt matter how great of a coach you have, how awful the defenses are or how great your offense is, throwing 19 TDs and 0 INTs is incredible. As the Eagles beat off another playoff contender in the Cardinals, maybe the NFC East just was waiting until midseason to show any promise what-so-ever? Quite the opposite for the NFC North. Eagles look to me like they are the team to beat. Week 17 Eagles at Cowboys is looking appealing. 10. Dallas Cowboys (7-5): A solid win against the Raiders on Thanksgiving was promising, just hard to be fully committed to a team with such a bad defense, and a QB with the last name of Romo. We will see, week 17 will be for the division. 11. Detroit Lions (7-5): What a win against the Packers on Thanksgiving. I would love to sit here and tell you the Lions are legit, but about 98% of the Packers blowout was self inflicted by the Packers. The Lions are terrible at controlling the ball, that will cause them problems come playoff time. Luckily they are playing in the same division as the 2 crippled teams, with 2 terrible and just atrocious defenses. Woho, go NFC North. 12. Arizona Cardinals (7-5): They had a chance to separate themselves this weekend, now they are thrown into the NFC east battle for a wildcard spot. Still a chance they get the #2 Wildcard spot, but they hurt those odds. 13. Indianapolis Colts (8-4): I am done trying to figure out the Colts, the Colts on any given week could be #1-#31 (Insert Texans joke). Colts are about as inconsistent as it gets, which is never a good thing. Luckily they have Luck on their side. 14. Baltimore Ravens (6-6): The Ravens are coming back alive and now are ahead in the AFC 2nd wildcard spot after a win against the Steelers. Was a great weekend for them watching the Chargers, Jets, Browns and Titans all lose, if only the Jets and Dolphins tied though. 15. San Diego Chargers (5-7): A good team in maybe the toughest division in the league, Phillip Rivers is Phillip Rivers and you get what you get. Surprised they are not utilizing Antonio Gates more in the passing game as he is the veteran TE. Still alive for that #2 Wildcard spot along with everyone in the AFC. 16. Giants (5-7) 17. Rams (5-7) 18. Bears (6-6) 19. Steelers (5-7) 20. Dolphins (6-6) 21. Packers (5-6-1) 22. Titans (5-7) 23. Vikings (3-8-1) 24. Raiders (4-8) 25. Jaguars (3-9) 26. Redskins (3-9) 27. Jets (5-7) 28. Falcons (3-9) 29. Bills (4-8) 30. Browns (4-8) 31. Buccaneers (3-9) 32. Texans (2-10)
