Power struggles at the NRM still raging on with a new move,that seeks to pass a vote of no confidence against the PM being hatched. Hell broke loose for the PM at a caucus retreat recently that adopted a resolution to ring fence the position of flag bearer for presidency for the Partys brand name ,Mzee Museveni. Amamas group made several moves to stress his popularity within NRM at kyankwanzi,only to be countered by a smartly calculated Anite move. Many ananalyts say the caucus resolution contravenes NRM constitution,arguing that it is the delegates conference mandated to choose flag bearers.Pro Mbabazi youth have been arrested in the past days for collecting signatures to call for a delegates meeting. Mbabazi has come out strongly saying he wont stand against the president. What is the political future of the PM? Are we witnessing a break up of internal democracy within the party?Does NRM tolorate divurgent views vital for the party growth.Wont these internal contradictions undermine the partys strength?
