Powerless Please note that there is nothing in devil to merit your fear. So many people are living in bondage everyday and are so scared of the devil. Firstly, it is important to know that the devil is in darkness and he lives in darkness. It is also important for you to know that darkness has no power to overthrow light. John 1:5, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” No matter the amount of invasion of the kingdom of darkness uopn anyone’s life, it can never overpower light. Darkness will seize to exist when you have light. Psalm 119:130, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” It is the word of God in you that gives light. The more the word of God at work in you, the more the light. God said in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” He did not say, “My people are destroyed because the devil is too strong”. It is the lack of knowledge that destroys and not any other thing. This is why we need to go for knowledge in the word of God to know our rights as Christians; We need to get illuminated by meditating upon the word of God at all times. There is no way the devil can stop you if you are well lighted with the word of God. The devil cannot do anything against you if you are lighted by the word. Go for the word!
