Practice only makes permanent.. but perfect practice makes - TopicsExpress

Practice only makes permanent.. but perfect practice makes perfect. My high school football coach said that--and it is true. The preponderance of the propensity for potentially pain/injury-producing properties (errant movement Patterns) is a thing thats predictable through the eyes of a professional. Yeah. They can see the pitfalls. Im not saying that you cant get results just by doin work, but also; To pull off prolific performance over a protracted period is possible but not probable without proper planning (see Periodization). And also, yes Im gonna say it again-- I posit that the value of a polished part of a complex skill which parallels or mimics what you plan to execute in your sport can be.... Priceless--due to the (next to) natural predisposition to produce power in a precise plane. Sorry. Almost done. But the attempted (high intensity) performance by participants following poor preparation (see also: pfalse confidence) can be perilous. So get pre-screened. Pre-hab is a good word too. Ponder that around in your head. In other words, there aint no magic pill.
