Praise the Lord. To : All my Brothers and Sisters in Christ in India and all around the world. There is a Church Ministry in South India doing Tribal Ministry work in North India. Their work includes missionary work as well as helping the poor tribal communities. The Incharge of this said Church has asked me to help them get assistance in one form or the other, i.e. new or used clothes and / or money as they need to send the same to the said tribal communities over there who are very poor and definitely less privileged than most of us. Besides this, there are lot of persons here too who are virtually destitutes and need help in one way or the other. As we are going to celebrate the birth date (Birthday) of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and as it is also a Christmas and a festive season too, let us all ponder for a while and see if we ever live a life as Christ wanted us to live. Please read : Philippians 2:4-5; Proverbs 19:17; and then Zechariah 9:12; Malachi 3:10. Philippians 2:4 : Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Not looking everyone to his private good, but keeping in mind the things of others. Do not be concerned about your own interests, but also be concerned about the interests of others. Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. Each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor gives to the Lord, and the Lord will give him his reward. Whoever is kind to the poor is lending to the LORD— the benefit of his gift will return to him in abundance. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will He pay him again. The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed. He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; He will reward him. Zechariah 9:12 .... Even today I say to you that I will give you back twice as much; .... Even today I am telling you: In return I will repay you double. .... Even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee; .... Today I declare that I will return double what was taken from you. .... Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. Malachi 3:10 Let your tenths come into the store-house so that there may be food in my house, and put me to the test by doing so, says the Lord of armies, and see if I do not make the windows of heaven open and send down such a blessing on you that there is no room for it. “Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. So put me to the test in this right now,” says the LORD of the Heavenly Armies, “and see if I won’t throw open the windows of heaven for you and pour out on you blessing without measure. Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. “Bring the entire tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my temple. Test me in this matter,” says the LORD who rules over all, “to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for. I hope each one of you will self introspect where you stand in this regard; particularly those who will be celebrating, feasting and spending lot of amount, kindly spare a thought towards our fellow brothers and sisters in other parts of the world who are not so fortunate at all.
