Prayer Point: When Bataa was three months old, his mother took him to be immunized. As most babies do, he cried when he received the shots. But something was different, Bataa turned blue. The doctors quickly diagnosed him with a heart defect. His 19-year-old mother Zulaa was devastated because complex heart surgery isnt available where they live in Mongolia. A few weeks later, Zulaas friend told her about Childrens Heart Project. The project accepted Bataas case and flew him to Minnesota, where he was able to receive the needed surgery. The church people are caring a lot, Zulaa said during her trip. They pray for us all the time. That means a lot to me. I just feel so much love and care from them. By the trips end, her fears had melted and she trusted Christ as her Savior and Lord. Several months after their return to Mongolia, one of Bataas valves started narrowing. Childrens Heart Project returned him to Minnesota for another surgery. Bataa received his second surgery and Zulaa received spiritual nourishment from her host family and interpreter. She was baptized before leaving the U.S. Now that she is home, she hopes to share the Gospel with her friends and family. I really believe that because my life is different, my parents will accept Jesus. Zulaa said. Please pray that Zulaa will be bold ain sharing the Gospel and her family will be receptive and Bataa will continue to grow and develop at the rate of a normal child. Also pray for the Childrens Heart patients all over the world to receive both the Gospel and physical healing they need.
