Thomas. Her husband explained that there is infection in her brain and has beenfor quite a while. She has had limited improvement from antibiotic therapy,she has had 2 strokes and is very malnourished. They will be doing frequent MRIs to monitor her and if there continues to be no improvement,they will be stopping treatment. He didnt give a time frame for this.Please pray for the entire family. Vicky Courtney Asking continuing prayers for my son Eric. He now has double pneumonia along with the bacterial infection. Doctors have said things could get worse before they get better.The tests revealed that the bacterial infection started in his heart and has been there for a while, it has damaged the valve and caused the valve to leak the infection into his blood stream. Not absolutely for sure, but the doctor that talked to us is leaning heavy towards a valve replacement.Eric,thought he was having pain in kidney & they did a cat scan 11/1 anyway they found a new spot of infection in his left lung.All of this infection was caused by the use of Herion. The doctor says that Eric is lucky that he stopped using some months ago. That most people he sees with this degree of damage usually does not make it. Erics was found in time. This is God at work!!!He is going to be transferred to St E Fort Thomas Extended care soon. Eloise is undergoing physical therapy for her knee replacement surgery at Gateway and plans to be coming home this Friday. She came out of her coma and has now been moved to a nursing home facility until her time on earth is over. Her father has a cottage at this same facility and now he can see her anytime he wants to. His wife was in the Alzheimers unit at this facility, so he bought one of the cottages there. He continued to live there after her death, because if he goes down, he can move over into the skilled nursing part where his daughter is. His heart is breaking because of watching her die. She still cannot walk and is in a wheelchair, but is still taking therapy and they are adjusted screws in her ankle on regular basis which is very painful but doctor is holding out hope that she will be able to walk. Normally we talked laughingly, but tonight we were both worried about tomorrow. We had found a lien on our property for a tax bill that we never owed, and it had accumulated late fees until it was more than we had. Disputing it was going to be a challenge, to say the least. What could we do? We called them and then just sat together and prayed over it. We got an impression to “Say nothing negative.” That was difficult, but it was the word for that day so we stood on it and just said nothing. The next day when we called them back, the tax office cleared the lien and we owed them nothing. Do not worry about tomorrow. Pray and try to follow the Lord as best you can today, and let tomorrow worry about itself. Many times the things that we are worried about never even come to pass. What you are worried about may never come God wants you to know that ...you need to maintain a balance between your needs and others needs.Yes, its not an easy balance to keep, but try you must.
