Pre-Turkey day thoughts: This time of year we usually spend a little more time than usual thinking of the things we are thankful for and we probably miss some! I had quite the reminder Saturday as I went to scout out a job, which Dee Bell has now fired me from by the way, for us and it is a wheel chair ramp with some rotten boards. I knew going into the situaiton that the lady is a quadraplegic and so I met with her caretaker to look at the ramp. After my exhausting inspection of the ramp (Dee Bell) the caretaker asked me if I would like to meet the lady who owns the home. I said yes and then went inside to meet this sweet lady in a wheel chair. Now I knew she was a quadraplegic before going inside but when I saw her and realized she relied on others for everything I had to stop and thank God for how He has blessed me and continues to bless me. I guess my point tonight is the we have it so good and it should not take meeting someone in a tough condition to make me stop and realize that on a bigger scale than I do. So make sure that yousay your prayers and thank God for His blessings no matter what is going on in your life! TAs Bible verse of the week: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus
