Preach on, MLK!!! Preach to our hearts!!! This still bring chills when I listen!!! LISTEN to the determination all the way through his soul!!! Folks, nobody can do this for us!!! We have to get MAD!!! We have to get MAD enough to tell our friends, our families and our loved ones!!! We have to get convicted!!! Convicted that WE are NOT going to let the CURRENT leaders of Memphis continue down this path of building monuments, bike lanes and statues with no money for healthcare, retirees, public services, potholes, promised money for the schools, etc. We are in a moment!!! They do not come often!!! But, we are in a moment!!! Shhh Cant you feel it??? Folks are FINALLY in the streets showing they care about injustice!!! Even if you dont agree, you have to admire the proof that Americans still have a right to call for a change in peaceful protest!!! Folks, we have a moment!!! Please dont let it pass us by!!! There are those who say the dye is cast and it is too late for Memphis to change!!! I say, we have a moment!!! Its not too late!!! WE have to unite behind a consensus candidate for mayor and target the seats on the city council!!! WE have to put Memphis back on course with the majority of the citizens needs!!! What would MLK do??? He would unite us for the common man, across race, religion and the other divides!!! He would march us to justice for our childrens sake!!! NO one can take his place, but who will take his baton??? I will follow that person!!! AMEN!!!
