Prediction 6 - 24/04/14 - 7.30pm - Swindon Robins v Eastbourne Eagles The Eagles continue their 2014 Elite League quest with the first of 2 away sojourns this week, heading off to Wiltshire tonight, in an attempt to get the away points column ticking over finally in 2014. The Swindon Robins were the only team to concede a point to the Eagles in the only away match between the two teams in 2013, just on this day a year ago, as the Eagles went down 49 - 43 at Blunsdon. The Robins, with ex-Eagle Simon Gustafsson now in their ranks, havent started off 2014 in great style, having only won one of their 5 matches so far this year. Manager Alun Rossiter has swung with axe with another former Eagles rider, Nicolai Klindt, being sacrificed for highly-rated Aussie Dakota North, and he makes his debut tonight against the Eagles. The Eagles will have their 2014 septet on track tonight, after missing Lewis Blackbird for the Good Friday clashes against the Lakeside Hammers, when he was away on Premier League duty with his team, the Peterborough Panthers. The only other Eagles team news for tonight is that Mikkel Michaelson stays at number 4 in the team until Friday, when the averages change and he will be riding at number 5 away at the Leicester Lions on Saturday. And with this in mind, Im predicting Mikkel to be Eagles top-scorer tonight with 10, in a close meeting with Eagles just sneaking it 46 - 44 :-) Get your predictions in now!!
