Premiering 2015 HE/SHE We are legally married with four children; my husband and I are from different tribes. Right from the beginning his parents did not like me but we understood and cared for each other. As time went by he got a second wife from his tribe and said it was to silence his relatives. Little did I know that she was to become a full wife with all entitlements, I tried my best for the sake of my marriage and children till I realized I couldnt go on… We separated in the presence of our parents, he promised to pay school fees and meet costs for school requirements. I moved in with my parents together with the children. Four years passed and we did not receive a penny from him though we used to send the bank slips. He never visited the children despite several calls I made telling him how they missed him and if possible organize to meet them at any place other than my parents place. I approached some friends who mediated between us. He later agreed to fulfill his promise as per school dues and requirements and to visit them often and he did. Every time he visits however, he comes empty handed! I feel so broken when they report that dad came but brought them nothing. I have started buying small gifts and lying to them that they are from their dad and i wish he could see how happy they are. Problem is, when he comes and they thank him he tells them right away that he is not the one who bought them. My parents have advised me to stop buying them because in future he might use it as a shield to protect his image actions and claim they were from another man. Im confused please advise.
