Pres. Aquino may not be a hypocrite but could be suffering from doublethink, a term coined by George Orwell in his novel 1984 to describe people unaware of simultaneously holding mutually contradictory beliefs. Notable in his gross contradictions was his fierce drive to get Justice Renato Corona out of the Supreme Court, but nary a slap on the wrist of his lieutenant Alan Purisima despite of glaring evidence alleging to malfeasance.
