Presidency moves against Tambuwal, his picture deleted web site on october 31, 2014 By Soni Daniel, Kingsley Omonobi, Emma Ovuakporie, Dapo Akinrefon & Gbenga Oke ABUJA—BARELY 48 hours after the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC, the acting Inspector General of Police, Sulaiman Abba, yesterday, withdrew all his security aides. The Federal Government also deleted Tambuwal’s picture and name from the official website of the National Assembly:nassng.org/nass, leaving his space blank for now. With the deletion of his details from the web page, only the data and photographs of nine principal officers of the House of Representatives are running, with Emeka Ihedioha, the deputy speaker, being the highest-ranking officer on the page. #Vanguard# ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This step taken by the Presidency is just too far. Unfortunately for the Presidency and fortunately for Tambuwal, no matter the level of intimidation, it does not change the fact that he (Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal) still remains the authentic Speaker of the Federal House Of Reps and the Number 4 Citizen of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria. The Presidency and PDP should allow Democracy prevail. PGEJ should learn to follow the rule of law, Nigeria should not be turned to a banana republic. Aminu Tambuwal only exercise his right to belong to any association of his choice. If the Presidency/PDP feel otherwise, a court of competent jurisdiction should be approached for re-dress Nigeria belongs to us all and not GEJ and Associate. #ChangeIsInevitable# #FFA#
