President Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) and MLA Langate Er Rashid has expressed his deep anger and anguish over the death of Parvaiz Ahmad Teli who was beaten to death in a mysterious incident by miscreants in Mumbai. In a press statement issued today he said that the incident is a continuation of the process to frighten Kashmiris and push them back to valley which has already turned as a huge jail for them. The records so far reveal that not even a single mysterious attack on Kashmiris in different parts of India has been solved so far. Er Rashid said. “It is strange that when ever any Kashmiri ranging from student to businessman or a journalist to fruit merchant leaves Valley he has to first get a character certificate and clean chit sanctioned by the concerned police station, but once the said person leaves Kashmir there is no guarantee that he may return safe. On the other hand thousands of tourists and laborers infiltrate Valley without any verification and a large number of criminals and professional smugglers do get an easy entry to the Valley and there by bring countless miseries to the ill fated Kashmiris. Markets and streets are flooded with professional beggars who include teenagers, ladies and other vulgars hailing from different parts of India. The records reveal that from Yatris to these beggars and from tourists to laborers not even a single mysterious death has taken place since many years while at an average at least one Kashmiri looses his life and thereby the said family looses its bread earner. It is obvious that life of these people is hundred per cent safe as compared to Kashmiris out of the state.” He further said that tall but hallow promises of State Govt. and police administration have always proved counter productive and Omer Abdullah must ask his conscience that what his praises for Indian Leaders and its security agencies have yielded so far. He also lashed out at sate police for its pro active attitude towards Kashmiris in dealing with minor issues but they seem to be turning like domestic cats when it comes to tackling with communal and criminal miscreants out side Jammu and Kashmir.
