At that time Yemenis from south and north faced those attacks and they achieved a great victory against the Sanaa 70-day blockade on February 8, 1968, the President added. Hadi considered the victory of Sanaa 70-day blockade and the National Independence in south the beginning during various struggling stages led finally to the Yemeni unification that occurred in 1990. He said after the unification in 1990, and due to a lack of a clear vision to build the new state in Yemen, the conflicts between Yemenis returned again in 1994 which resulted in new hurts in Yemens body during unjust actions took place in the years that followed. Hadi mentioned that instead of handling the results of war in 1994 the regime continued in its negative and wrong actions, saying that today we are handling with cooperation of all honorable citizens all hurts of the past and its painful mistakes.
