President Obama faces several scandals, any one of which could have taken down a president in a previous era when people still cared. He now presides over 5 years of recoveryless recovery of the economy. His foreign policy is such a disaster, that neither traditional American allies nor enemies seem to have much respect for him or the country today. So of course he is expected to announce a new plan of attack against ... wait for it ... power companies. Because, you know, driving up the price of energy will help the economy. Or something.
