President of Israel Reuven (Ruvi) Rivlin saw a film clip made by 11 year old George Amira, an Israeli Palestinian from Jaffa, describing the insults he faces every day (apparently from both Arabs and Jews because of his effeminate appearance and his nationality), asked to meet him, and produced this joint clip . President Rivlin, a lifelong Likudnik whose views are quite right wing, was increasingly snubbed by PM Netanyahu and his own party, along with other Likudniks that had respect for democracy. President Rivlin has surprised many in his consistent advocacy for treating Israeli Palestinians as fully equal citizens. In this clip, they hold up signs decrying violence and racism in Israel, and calling for solidarity and equality.
