Press Release: HumanistSA calls for the Immediate Resignation of the Abbott Government Many of you will agree that the current Government has taken a step too far through the re-foulment of Sri-Lankan Refugees to their persecutors. This Government has shown that it does not have the least interest in maintaining Human-Rights in any sense. It is anti-Progressive (Enlightenment/Evidence-based policy making) and damaging Australian culture, families and people. It is anti-science, anti-evidence, fear-based and has evidently derived its politics from US Tea Party-styled ideas and therefore represents Australian in no manner at all, instead representing a form of cultural invasion that will likely see a massive increase in division of our peoples. Although we see no likelihood of our call being accepted or the GG responding, HumanistSA (https://facebook/groups/Humanists.SA/) has broken from its non-partisan position as it can no longer continue to be seen to tolerate this government as it stands.
