Press Release I wish to inform that in the meeting with the parents and relatives of the arrested GHSMC volunteers , it was lamented by one or two of the parents that they being poor and unaware , it is not possible for them to afford the expenditure for court matters in securing bail . The Deputy Commissioner is the Chairman of The District Legal Services Authority and it was immediately explained to them that they can avail of the legal aid which is offered free of cost to the people who cannot afford the expenditure burden of court cases . The undersigned took a serious view of the observation that some vested interests are stopping the arrested followers of GHSMC from taking bail . It is a direct denial of a basic right by unlawful means and adds to the criminal conspiracy theory that some motivated vested interests are directing the entire chain of events and physically denying the arrested volunteers any chance of escape while the leaders cool their heels in the prison under more stringent sections of law . The Deputy Commissioner asked whether the parents of the arrested volunteers have approached the leaders and the architects of the orchestrated and pre-planned assault and intrusion in our offices or whether they are forthcoming in helping these people now .
