Press release from gpl.... The Guyana Power and Light has embarked on a campaign of selective load shedding throughout Guyana. This is gpl trying to play its part in combating the social declines in Guyana. We noted that on Sundays yall want to watch football and cricket when u should be in church so blam.... blackout!... We have also noticed a decline in literacy levels so blam...blackout, go read a book no Facebook thing...... and finally the decline of the family so we implore u put down the smartphone, tablets and laptops cause we gon give u blackout till them thing dead, and pick up the ludu, the monopoly and the scrabble and do something as a family.......
