Pretty cool day; different that a typical day in the US. After the gym I went to volunteer at the animal shelter. On the way I passed a few pretty cool things. #1. Monk with a flashy designer purse talking on a cell phone & smoking a cigarette. #2. Sat at a LONG light behind a truck bed full of about 8 of the CUTEST elderly Thai ppl as the just pointed, smiled & laughed at me the WHOLE time. Never knew I was such a comedian :) #3. Watched a Burmese worker; gruff an manly in his dirty work clothes, apply powder from a glittery compact all over his face & even finish off with a duck face in his little mirror as he drove next to me. #4. Rounded a bend on a rural street by a rice field only to come upon the BIGGEST & most elaborate funeral procession I have ever seen. They were carrying a beautifully ornate temple, amazing music & the entire procession was full of smiles. I showed my respect with a high Wai & got smiles and Waiss back.
