Longtime native, Graduated from the University of California during world war 2, Entered the US Army as a Intelligence Specialist, Obtained a Law degree from Hastings School of Law, In 1952 appointed District Attorney for San Joaquin County, After appointed Judge for the Manteca, Ripon, Escalon Eastern District court. and first woman to do so. Member of numerous local, County, and State Service Professional organizations, Judge Haynes had a tough love approach to teens and was known for ruling the bench with dignity ,Firmness and fairness. A big part of Manteca History and one of our Pioneers.
