Privacy of the Group - First Ever MCL Vote Ok Guys, this is something which has been discussed before and we have had a detailed session about this between admins as well. The opinion is divided. There have been numerous calls from lots of members to change the group settings to Closed. The argument in its favor is that with Closed settings, members will have a cleaner timeline and will be able to post on the group with much more liberty. The argument against Closed or to keep it Open is that it helps us to multiply. Our message goes across to more people and thus more people join eventually helping in making a huge member base. It has been finally decided among the admins that rather than we make the decision, we go to the members and ask them. Whatever the members decide, we will follow that. After all, it is democracy :) If the membership decides in favor of Closed group, we will announce a date for the closure of the date as soon as the final count is done. Vote Procedure -------------------- Poll Question: What would you want the group settings to be: 1. Open 2. Closed You please either write Open or Closed Every Member can vote once. Each member will vote via INBOX. They will inbox me (Usman Shaikh) and Javed Ghaffar simultaneously. A vote sent to just one will not count. Poll Closes Midnight tomorrow (August 11) so approximately 27 hours to vote Results will be announced soon after the Poll closes inshaAllah You may discuss in the comments but the vote via inbox will count only. You can give arguments and may convince others if you like. (We have opted for Vote via inbox because of Vote Duplication issues and Privacy of the voter. It has been decided after much deliberation so please no discussion on this. Thanks.)
