Private exporters have reported to USDA the sale of 120,000 tons of US soft red winter wheat to China, and 120,000 tons of corn was sold to unknown destinations. Japan bought 41,565 tons of milling wheat, including 750 tons of US white club wheat grown in the state of Washington. Japan continues to suspend imports of US western white wheat due to the recent discovery of Roundup Ready wheat in one Oregon field. South Korea has lifted its ban on US wheat imports after food safety regulators found no biotech wheat in recent shipments from the US.
