Probably going to cop a bit for this BUT. The hostage drama makes me sad for of course the people being held hostage. I am also extremely sad about the collateral damage to all those very good people in our society that are and always have been terrific citizens that happen to be Muslim. There will be the ignorant in our society who will attack all because of a few fools who have been easily led by others to do these acts. There will be innocent people attacked, abused and harassed for no other reason than they look Muslim or Middle Eastern. That will include the large Middle Eastern Christian community within Australia, even Sikhs and Indians have been attacked and abused for being Muslim. Most Muslims are good decent and wonderfully giving human beings. I would say please everyone take a breath and blame those that are doing this not the ones that are horrified by it.
