Prodotto Lancio “It’s all about selling your ideas in the market” is the ideology of our Marketing Club and it is well depicted when the Club organized “Prodotto Lancio”. The event not only had enthusiastic participants from both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students but also had an excellent audience which inspired the Club to organize more of such events. Though the event had a late start but the anchors of the event made sure that the event remains thoroughly enjoyable. The coordinators invested lot of their time in decorating the rooms and making all detailed arrangements required for the event. The Undergraduate students came up with two of their innovative products (Energylite drink and Internet dongles) and amazed us with the vast amount of market research and information they have collected in making their products presentable. The EnergyLite product is an energy drink targeted towards mainly to 6-12 years kids and is very much within the price range of commoners. The Internet Dongle is for techy guys who love to remain with the internet even when they travel. It has storage space as well as for saving data and has a benefit of free movies download initially. The Post graduate first year students surprised us with their products(Diana Tea and Paisool) because they have not only made their products more realistic but also came up with new strategies for marketing their products. The tea has a sweet aroma to it which they think will give that extra bit of edge in the market and also the medicated turmeric which gives the product benefit over the products in the market. The Paisool product is a utility card that will be quite beneficial mainly for the college students who have to make some tight financial decisions about their pocket money. The feasibility of the product in the market along with the competitive analysis of the products were done in great detail. Dr.Rumki Banerjee is the judge of the event whose presence made the event more interactive and enjoyable. The program kept the audience interested with question and answer round which also had small rewards. Such events by the marketing team keeps all of the students rejuvenated and keep us acquainted with innovative marketing strategies.
