Producing thin tomatoes in Nigeria is indeed a great business ... Why are we spending =N=40 billion annually importing thin tomatoes in Nigeria? We can grow tomatoes all year round with the help of greenhouse, we can also produce the thin in Nigeria and can them here ... Why all these money to china for tomato puree import? A canned tomato can last up to 2 years or more if it is done properly. I will set up a greenhouse for research purpose on this and also can my produce as from next year. If my result confirm my hypothesis, seriously speaking I will go into this business in a big way and even export thin tomatoes to African Nation. Tomato market in Lagos alone is worth over =N=100 million on a monthly bases.
